Owner and Principal
Mark Kennedy, CPA
Mark Kennedy is the Owner and Principal of KENNEDY Chartered Professional Accountant. Mark graduated from the University of Alberta in 2015 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, and went on to article at a local CPA firm in Edmonton.
The opportunity to work at a local firm exposed Mark to all areas of the profession and gave him a well-rounded skill set to meet the needs of his clients. Mark led and managed a team under his care and was the point of contact for some of the firm’s largest real estate, farm, and construction clients.
Mark passed the Common Final Examination (CFE) in 2017, and earned his CPA designation in 2018.
Backed by his managerial experience and technical strengths, Mark now leads his own practice, focused on providing clients with professional, competent, and trustworthy service.
Outside of work Mark enjoys staying active by playing men’s league volleyball, ski touring in the winter, and water skiing and golfing in the summer. Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their two kids.

Lina Gionet, Associate
Lina Gionet is a dedicated 4th-year student at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), pursuing her Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting. With five years of hands-on experience, including four years in private accounting and one year in public practice, Lina has developed a well-rounded understanding of both sectors. She is also a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, adding to her technical expertise in accounting software.
Known for her strong work ethic and passion for helping others, Lina approaches every challenge with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence. Her time in the accounting industry has allowed her to hone her skills in financial reporting, tax preparation, and compliance, making her a trusted team member wherever she works.
Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Lina is driven by her desire to support those around her, whether through mentoring peers or assisting clients. She looks forward to applying her expertise to contribute to the success of businesses and individuals alike.
